TEEN LIT (LEader in training) CAMP

AUG 13-16, 2023 (Sunday-Wednesday)

To be a good leader you need to first understand and trust yourself. When you can comfortably lead yourself with confidence  only then  can you learn to lead others . On this LIT camp you will learn about yourself and  become comfortable talking about your strengths and weaknesses and where you excel and where you need to find complementary team members to help you lead.

Fast paced and fun with adventure, outdoors, campfires, music, days in the sun in a fun light hearted but impactful environment where you discover more about you and how to be more comfortable and empowered in the world.

Our 14+ girls (ages 14-17) will learn how to discover their potential, build transferable skills and discover strategies to become a leader in the present and for the future. This will be a combo program with leadership components plus of course a ton of fun activities because it's summer... and it's fun!

Whats Included:

• An intimate and fun collaborate time of fun and learning in a relaxed carefree way - this looks nothing like school!!! Max 10 teen girls.
• Lots of laughing and being silly
• 3 nights accomodation in Pura Vida Chalet (shared rooms). Arrive Sunday after 3pm. Leave Wednesday 6pm
• All food and drinks during stay, delicious healthy food prepared by our chef
• team building activities where girls get to learn about themselves & their peers
• workshop on defining ones strengths and how to leverage them
• workshop on  leadership styles and effective communication strategies 
• paddle boarding on Lac Montriond
• swimming , dancing  Zumba and more
• a mountain hike (moderate fitness required)
• a choice canyoning or tree top trekking (not compulsory)
• mindfulness activities

On completion of the LIT camp teens will receive a Power4Teens LIT certificate. Successful teen leaders will have the opportunity to work at Power4Teens Summer Camps in Toronto in 2024. www.power4teens.ca
